More PNP Candidates Invited by IRCC in Latest Express Entry Round
In a new development, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited 725 candidates to apply for permanent residency through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw.
Candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 667 and had to create their Express Entry profile by 6:25 pm UTC on June 5, 2024, to be eligible.
This marks the first draw of the month, following a packed February where over 11,000 ITAs were issued across various draws, including French-language proficiency, PNP, and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) categories. So far in 2025, the focus has largely been on PNP and CEC candidates, with only one category-based draw this year.

Documents Required After Receiving an ITA
If you receive an ITA and decide to move forward with your Canadian permanent residence application, make sure to gather the following essential documents:
- Valid passport
- Birth certificate
- Language test results
- Proof of work experience
- Police clearance certificates (for places you’ve lived 6+ months since turning 18)
- Immigration Medical Exam receipt (if required)
- Passport-size photographs of yourself and any accompanying family members
Depending on your profile and the program you’re applying through, additional documents may also be necessary, such as:
- Canadian education credentials or an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)
- Job offer letter from a Canadian employer
- Proof of family ties in Canada
- Proof of settlement funds
- Marriage, divorce, annulment, or death certificates
- Adoption papers
- Certificate of qualification for skilled trades
- Work contracts, pay stubs, or tax documents
