Four Provinces Held PNP Draws from July 29 to August 3

Four provinces held PNP draws from July 29 to August 3, namely, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Prince Edward Island.

Ontario

Provincial draws were held by Ontario under three different nomination streams:

2,855 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were issued by Ontario to candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging between 250 and 516, making it the largest draw under the Skilled Trades stream.

Under the Master’s Graduate stream, 755 candidates were also invited by the province with a minimum OINP points score of 48 and above. Under the Ph.D. graduate stream, 84 candidates with a score of 39 points or more were invited additionally.

British Columbia

Two draws were held by British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) on August 1.

British Columbia held targeted draws for in-demand occupations under the Skilled Worker International Graduate, issuing:

  • Tech workers with a cut-off SIRS score of 88 were issued 132 invitations
  • Early childhood educators and assistants with a minimum SIRS score of 60 were issued 39 invitations.
  • Healthcare workers with a minimum score of 60 were issued 23 invitations
  • Candidates in other targeted occupations with a minimum score of 60 were issued at least one invitation.

A draw was held by BCPNP for Entrepreneur immigration candidates issuing at least one invitation under the base Entrepreneur Immigration stream and at least one more under the Regional Pilot stream.

Alberta

On August 1, invitations were issued by the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program (AAIP) under two different streams.    

32 NOIs were issued by AAIP under the Priority Sector, Agriculture occupation stream to the candidates with a minimum CRS score of 322.

To candidates with a minimum CRS score of 317, 11 NOIs were sent additionally to the candidates in the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway.  

Prince Edward Island

Under the Labour & Express Entry stream, Prince Edward Island held a draw on the third of August. Candidates working in Hotel/Accomodation, Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Food Processing, and Agriculture sectors were issued 58 invitations.
