Canada’s provinces remain active in their immigration efforts, with Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island issuing invitations to candidates across various streams. Here’s a summary of this week’s updates:

British Columbia

On December 17, British Columbia invited candidates through its Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). Invitations were issued under the Entrepreneur Base and Regional streams, totaling 11 ITAs. Each stream featured unique cutoff scores.

Alberta

Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island conducted draws under its Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) on December 16:

  • Labour and Express Entry Stream: 32 candidates were invited.
  • Business Work Permit Entrepreneur Stream: One candidate was invited, requiring a minimum score of 125.

These updates reflect Canada’s commitment to welcoming skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and international talent through its provincial pathways.

Manitoba

Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held two draws on December 18:

  • International Education Stream: 297 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were sent to eligible candidates.
  • Skilled Worker Overseas Stream: 102 candidates were invited with a minimum score of 630.

In total, 399 candidates received LAAs, including 43 individuals who declared a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code.
